Great blend of sport and reasonable utility. The base xDrive35i to me has plenty of zip (but I confess I haven't been in a 50i or M) and to me gives a great balance between power and mileage. With a full gas tank the range is 448 miles which is a huge plus. It handles very well but of course isn't a sports car or sedan. The ride is comfortable for 4 and tolerable for 5. I was able to fit in 4 adults with 4 sets of golf clubs with relative ease. You can get more in the cargo area than you may initially think.
