It has so many safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane assist, blind spot monitoring, and more. It even reads the speed limits on the road and displays them on the dash. Adjusts the brights in the dark automatically and turns off when it sees a car coming. I’m averaging 35-38 mpg depending how much city I drive in. Only take $25 to fill up. I love this car! Obviously Civics aren’t for bigger/tall people, however there is a ton of space in the basic LX model. It is difficult for me to get in and out though (I’m 5’10, 175lbs). My one complaint is the defrost of the rear and side mirrors. They don’t. You have to drive until your side mirrors use the wind to clear the dew. Other than that, have a steady 29mpg. Highest has been 30mpg. Safety features include lane departure mitigation, the steering wheel does pull you back into the lane, alert for brake is just okay. Planning on getting 200k miles on this car as I truly believe Honda’s last forever. If you have a baby, you need to get a specific mirror to see your kiddo. The ones they sell at Walmart do not fit around the head rest as they don’t adjust for you to clip.
