It does not drive the rear wheels directly, but rather feeds the crankshaft via the alternator belt. Nonetheless, the combination is impressive, there being a total of 429 horsepower on tap married to the silky smoothness of an inline-six. Other interior details are similarly hit-and-miss. The Burmester sound system, for instance, is a two-thumbs-up with an index finger thrown in for good measure.
