With its power, it makes the car fun to drive and still gets great MPG. Like most American auto brands, you can get this vehicle at a significant discount under "MSRP". When you buy a car or car, you can get a discount under "MSRP". The Equinox's biggest downfall is the cheap plastics used inside. The most bothersome being the turn signal indicator (yes, I'm one of the few that still use it). It is very cheap plastic and feels like it'll fall off with every use. What I don't like is the pillar between windshield seems thicker than necessary and hampers view. The armrest is too far rearward and difficult to access the interior. The safety belt comes out of the door pillar tight against the plastic and I feel should be a half inch away so it would be easier to grab. The safety features are simply great, the seat fits great, the turbo gives plenty of get up and go, the AWD is fantastic on snow. All in all if the auto gives service for its lifetime as the first 1000 miles have, I will be very pleased.
