Most of those vehicles were a bit disappointing, but there were a few stand outs among the bunch. Arguably, the crowd favorite was the 4th Generation G-Body cars. Of those the best seller by far, was the Monte Carlo, with the top of the line being the Super Sport! This particular example is one of only 24,050 fortunate enough to be optioned with the SS package consisting of a 5.0L, 305CI High Output V8 engine, European body color-coding, new front fascia, rear spoiler, performance axle ratio, F41 suspension package, and special interior upgrades. These cars are extremely sought after by collectors and are a real hit at car shows! The body is finished in white paint accented by blue SS decals on the sides. Correct wheels wrapped in Mastercraft Avenger GT Radial tires finish things up in the appearance category. Under the hood lies the correct 305CI V8 engine mated to a smooth shifting 3 speed automatic transmission. Driving is effortless thanks to power steering and power brakes with front disc. It is also equipped with factory air conditioning that works when charged but does have a leak. The car runs great and would make a great driver for anyone! The interior is very original and in great shape. The dark blue upholstery is a great contrast to the white paint and is one of the less common seen combinations on a Monte SS. Everything shows well and there is even an AM FM CD stereo in the dash to keep you entertained on trips!
