This car easily gets in the middle of 40 miles/gallon does not matter how you drive it unless you really floor it in the lower gears for unnecessary speeding. The cabin is quiet comparing to Japanese economy class cars, decent acceleration on 2nd and 3rd gear, and it has some flares to be frankly and some bit engaging too. The inside is cheap but functional, you don't get distracted by those modern fancy stuff, it's like a car serves more than adequate in any way, even the audio isn't really bad, Apple CarPlay, no issue too. The only thing I think is an issue is the VW uphill function, which will release the brake depends on the degree of the slope, and sometimes people behind would think: what's wrong with this guy in the front, wait for couple of seconds to move forward. Also you have to release the brake pedal first, and then wait for the brake holding release while disengage the clutch and give gas at the same time. During this process, the car will roll back a little bit for sure.
