New 2025 Ford Expedition Platinum

The 2025 Ford Expedition has been completely redesigned to help on-the-go families make the most of their time together with new technology, versatility, and capability plus the all-new Expedition Tremor off-road model. The lineup has been restructured with five trim levels: XL (fleet only), Active, Tremor, Platinum, and King Ranch. The Expedition Max extended-length variant continues to be available on all trims except Tremor. The Expedition utilizes a military-grade aluminum chassis for enhanced durability in towing and hauling situations. Its independent rear suspension helps provide improved ride quality compared to many truck-based SUVs, while variable-boost power steering enhances maneuverability. Ford's AdvanceTrac with RSC (Roll Stability Control) works in conjunction with standard Trailer Sway Control to detect trailer sway and apply precise braking or reduce engine torque as needed for stable towing. Depending on trim seating configurations include a 5-seats, an 8-passenger layout with a 40/20/40-split second-row bench, or a 7-passenger arrangement with second-row captain's chairs. The Max variant offers not only additional cargo space but easier third-row access. Both the second and third rows fold flat with power-folding capability, creating a versatile cargo area. The Max rides on a wheelbase that is a foot longer than the standard model, translating to significantly more interior space.
