Chevrolets compact SUV receives a redesign for 2025 and the Equinoxs rugged new design has it looking like a scaled-down Traverse. The cabin receives a massive makeover too, with a redesigned center console and a boldly styled new dashboard that is book ended by two large round air vents. A pair of new digital displays take center stage, with an 11.0-inch unit behind the steering wheel serving as a gauge display and an 11.3-inch one offering access to the Equinoxs Google-based infotainment system. Under the Equinoxs squared-off hood is an updated version of the outgoing models turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder and a continuously variable automatic transmission. The new Equinox will launch soon and challenge the segments best SUVs, including the 10Best award-winning Honda CR-V, the stylish Mazda CX-50, and the redesigned Volkswagen TiguanDrew Dorian, CARandDRIVER. Inside, the Equinoxs cabin is roomy for adults with plenty of cargo space for luggage or a large grocery haul. The interior styling is fresh and contemporary, with attractive materials and a nice balance of physical and digital controls. All Equinox models come with two big digital displays on the dashboard. An 11.3-inch infotainment display stands tall on the center of the dashboard and is angled slightly toward the driver. Projected on it is Chevys latest Google-based infotainment interface, which features navigation via Google Maps and access to a Wi-Fi hotspot. Directly in front of the driver is a separate 11.0-inch digital gauge cluster that offers reconfiguration options so you can customize it based on your preferences. The Equinox LT, like this model, is well equipped with17-inch machined-face wheels, Automatic high-beam headlights, Remote engine start, Heated exterior mirrors, Heated front seats and steering wheel, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Connected services with access to a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot and Programmable safe teen driver settings.
