The 2019 Kia Niro EV EX delivers an efficient and fully electric driving experience with its 64 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery paired to a 150 kW (201 hp) AC synchronous electric motor. A 7.2 kW on-board charger and DC fast charge port conveniently located in the front grille make recharging simple, while adjustable regenerative braking with steering-wheel paddle shifters enhances efficiency. Riding on 17-inch alloy wheels, the Niro EV also comes equipped with advanced safety features including dual front airbags with drivers knee airbag, dual front seat-mounted side airbags, full-length curtain airbags, anti-lock braking with brake assist, vehicle stability management, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Inside, comfort and convenience are at the forefront with cloth and artificial leather seat trim, automatic climate control with rear vents, and smart technology features such as UVO link, a 7-inch touchscreen with rear camera, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth®, and push button start with smart key.
