- There are many posts talking about problems with the GLE and how Mercedes has come down in quality, I hope that it is not true. I have had 2 BMWs and 5 Mercedes and quality has not been an issue with any of them. Most owners would not bother posting anything if there were no problems, therefore we are overwhelmingly reading the posts of individuals experiencing some issues, however minor they may be. I love driving my GLE 350, and I have zero second thoughts regarding my decision.
- I own a 2022 GLE450, handling is more of a family SUV style, it’s very very comfortable but can absolutely turn into a vicious animal on demand. Power delivery is fantastic, transmission is very smooth, standard suspension is up to expectation for the most part (would’ve loved it to be more stiff for better cornering but it’s not a sport oriented SUV so that’s trivial & quite subjective).
- My only complaint now is Apple CarPlay bring really laggy and slow, nearly unable to rely on if I use the touch pad (screen works much better ?!?).
- Minor issues like rear bumper’s edge that goes right below the tail light doesn’t seem to attach to anything underneath, free floating and can be pushed really deep, wipers could be better quality (compared to Audi).
