New 2026 Hyundai Venue SEL

The Hyundai Venue rolls into 2026 with slight changes to the trim line-up, with the SEL w/2-Tone Roof replacing the Limited trim. Mechanically, all versions of the Hyundai Venue are pretty similar. All versions are powered by a 1.6L 4-cylinder engine making 121 horsepower with that power being sent to the front wheels via Hyundai's IVT. The IVT, like other continuously variable transmissions on the market, doesn't have set gears and is instead able to adjust the transmission ratios on the fly for maximum efficiency. Though the Venue makes modest power, it's light enough that the vehicle doesn't feel sluggish, and the upshot is about 32 mpg on the highway, excellent for a crossover vehicle. The SEL comes standard with larger rear brakes, roof rails, 17-inch alloy wheels, a power sunroof, automatic headlights, a drive mode selector with an included snow mode, automatic temperature control for the HVAC system, 4 USB ports, and steering wheel mounted audio controls. The SEL is also available with a two-tone roof. This trim, dubbed the SEL w/ 2-Tone Roof, removes the power sunroof in favor of a two-tone contrasting roof. The roof color also carries over to the side mirrors, adding to Venue's quirky exterior styling. Inside the vehicle, the cloth trim has been replaced with a combination of cloth and H-Tex, giving the interior a more upscale feel. Safety features across the lineup include active lane departure, forward collision mitigation, front pedestrian detection, and a driver attention alert while the SEL trims add blind spot and rear collision warning.
