The two trim levels on the Trax share many of the same features, including the performance metrics you’ll find. Both come standard with a 1.4-liter turbo engine that’s paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. It’s capable of producing up to 155 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. Both trims also come standard in a front-wheel drivetrain, but the option to choose an all-wheel drive one is there. Fuel economy will differ only slightly, with the front-wheel drive models achieving an EPA-estimated 26 city/31 highway MPG.
