It is powered by the 6.2-liter High-Output V8, equipped with a 3.0-liter supercharger featuring a 3.02 pulley and a 105mm throttle body, along with revised fueling system components, Nitride-coated intake valves, copper-lead bearings, and upgraded cylinder head studs, compared to the previous Demon model. The horsepower rating adjusts automatically based on the ethanol content of the fuel, and output ranges from 900 horsepower and 810 lb-ft of torque with conventional E10 fuel to 1,025 horsepower and 945 lb-ft of torque with E85.
