New 2025 Chevrolet Traverse

The Chevy Traverse was completely redesigned for the 2024 model year with a greater emphasis on technology and capability. The changes included a more rugged exterior, a reimagined tech-infused interior, a turbocharged engine, and the addition of the off-road-focused Z71. For 2025, the High Country trim is added as the flagship of the model line. Unchanged is the Traverse’s spacious cabin and ability to carry up to seven or eight people and their cargo. All Traverse models are powered by a 2.5-liter, turbocharged inline-four engine that produces 328 horsepower and a peak torque of 326 lb-ft. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard on all models, and all-wheel drive is available on all trims and standard on the Z71. The Z71 has an exclusive twin-clutch AWD system with an auto-locking rear differential that enables the vehicle to independently control torque to each rear wheel based on road conditions. When properly equipped, the Traverse has a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds.
