New 2025 Ford Maverick XL

The Maverick is powered by a 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 250 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft of torque, which is sent to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. A hybrid version is also available on the front-wheel drive Maverick with a 2.5L 4-cylinder that makes 162 horsepower mated to a CVT transmission, with the electric motor the horsepower increases to 192. The Maverick is available in front-wheel and AWD as a SuperCrew with a 4.5-foot box, three trims are available XL, and XLT. The all-wheel drive model adds the Lobo, Lariat and Tremor trims to the lineup. The basic XL trim comes with automatic LED headlights, 17-inch steel wheels, manual locking tailgate, power door locks, 2 USB ports, Ford's SYNC infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, rearview camera, pedestrian detection alert, and forward collision mitigation. While the bigger SuperCrew cab obviously has larger and more comfortable rear seats, it's worth noting that even Ford has ditched the sideways. All vehicles are subject to prior sale.
