New 2025 Ford Maverick XL

The Maverick is powered by a 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 250 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft of torque, which is sent to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Maverick is available in front-wheel and AWD as a SuperCrew with a 4.5-foot box, three trims are available XL, XLT, and Lariat. The basic XL trim comes with automatic LED headlights, 17-inch steel wheels, manual locking tailgate, power door locks, 2 USB ports, Ford's SYNC infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, rearview camera, pedestrian detection alert, and forward collision mitigation. While the bigger SuperCrew cab obviously has larger and more comfortable rear seats, it's worth noting that even Ford has ditched the sideways facing rear seats of compact pickup truck lore, with all-four seats facing the correct direction and featuring reasonable leg room.
