New 2025 Gmc Sierra 1500 SLT

GMC trucks date back to 1902, starting with the first model from the Reliance Motor Car Company. Six years later, they were purchased by General Motors, which combined them with Rapid Motor Vehicle Co. to become General Motors Truck, which was quickly shortened to GMC Trucks. Since then, GMC has been the corporation’s premium truck manufacturer. Sierra, which refers to a range of jagged mountains in Spanish, was first applied to GMC’s full-size truck line in 1968. Today’s Sierra is available in Regular Cab, Double Cab, and Crew Cab configurations. Bed sizes include 5’8” and 6’6” and an eight-foot bed for the Regular Cab models. The 2.7-liter engine is paired to an 8-speed transmission, while a 10-speed automatic transmission is used for the other three engines. While the Sierra shares its mechanical components with the Chevrolet Silverado, the Sierra, and the GMC brand overall, emerges as a premium product with more refined interior details. It was the first to include new tech and reaches a higher level of sophisticated content with its Denali luxury sub-brand.
