New 2025 Nissan Sentra S

The Nissan Sentra is available in three trims: S, SV and the top-of-the-line SR. Nissan keeps things pretty simple with powertrain options for the Sentra, power comes from a solo engine choice: a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine making 149 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque. Nissan mates that engine to an efficient Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) specifically designed to mimic the gears of a traditional automatic transmission. The eight generation Sentra utilizes newly independent rear suspension and dual-pinion-rack electronic power steering. The base model Sentra S is more basic than other versions but is still equipped with plenty of nice features. Air conditioning, cruise control, power door locks and power windows are all generally expected and present. However, more upscale items that come standard on the S include a 7.0-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, a USB port, remote keyless entry, and push-button start. The Nissan Sentra has traditionally served as a more cost-effective option to the competitive compact sedan market dominated by Japan and Korea. More recently it offers a much more robust and solid driving experience with sophisticated interior design and a unique styling all its own. Pair that with a long list of standard high-tech active safety assists thanks to Nissan's Safety Shield 360 at a very reasonable price, and the picture really comes together.
