The 2026 Cadillac Lyriq Luxury RWD 1-Speed Automatic Electric Drive Unit is a new Cadillac Lyriq. The car has standout exterior beauty and a high tech interior that may be a bit challenging to some. It is exceedingly quiet and the dual motor version is very responsive. The primary problems we experienced were generally related to the software and infotainment system which I regard as symptomatic of a new car still in its infancy. We also had problems with the radio reception which were cured with replacement parts. The only continuing disappointment we have involves the wireless phone charger which GM confirmed does not work with IPhone 14 and higher.
