The redesign is what made me do it. Living in Cleveland the All Terrain was awesome. The only feature I lost in the trade was massage seats and HUD which I never got used to in the Caddy. The seats in the Activ were both visually appealing and extremely comfortable. The ride was very nice. Where the Caddy had a spirited sport style ride the Activ had a very smooth ride. My biggest complaint was the sound system. However swapping out the door speakers within 3 days of taking delivery the result is near Bose quality sound. Many reviews complain about the engine again coming off a car that had 325 horsepower there was/is a dip in HP. The result not a big deal. Getting on the highway isnt an issue there is plenty of power to get up to speed and to maintain it. Overall the exterior and interior won me over to even test drive let alone buy one because prior to 2025 I thought Equinoxs were ugly and I would have never owned one.
