- The engine noise, with the small turbo, is more than I would like. If you are a "smooth ride affectionado" and are willing to pay more, I would recommend the Buick instead. For most people, tho, who want a new car under between 21,000 and 26,000, the Trax is the best bet. Its much larger than the Nissan Kicks, which is in a similar price range.
- The Mazda CX5 may be a good "half way" improvement. The CX5 is probably 30 something thousand but a bit more upscale, but not an outrageous fortune like the Toyota and Honda.
