New 2026 Chrysler Pacifica

The Chrysler Pacifica is available with just one engine, the 3.6L "Pentastar" V6. This engine is used throughout Chrysler and Dodge's lineups for a few very good reasons, it's powerful, it's fuel efficient and it's refined. The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission that delivers power to either the front wheels or the available all-wheel-drive system. With 287 horsepower on tap, the Pacifica is perhaps a little faster than it really needs to be, but on-ramps and merging should be a snap. Chrysler claims up to 28 mpg on the highway with this engine. The Pacifica comes in three different trim levels that take it from somewhat basic to full-on luxury. The Select trim features a power liftgate, heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals, LED headlights and front fog lights, 17-inch wheels, heated front seats, tri-zone climate control, a 6-speaker sound system, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, adaptive cruise control, wireless device connectivity, and 10 USB ports. The Limited trim adds a power sunroof, 18-inch wheels, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, leather upholstery, driver seat memory, an HD satellite radio, a 13-speaker sound system, mobile hotspot, wireless device charging, and 11 USB ports. The Pinnacle trim features proximity sliding rear doors, auto-dimming side mirrors, a 19-speaker sound system, second-row Blu-ray and digital entertainment system with 10-inch display screens, a vacuum, and surround view cameras. The Pacifica competes with other minivans such as the Toyota Sienna and the Honda Odyssey, both of which it manages to undercut on price. However, the entire minivan segment holds a ton of value, by virtue of being cheaper to own and operate than the myriad of medium and large SUVs out in the world. The Chrysler Pacifica combines a lot of space, with relatively compact and easy-to-park exterior dimensions, along with a curb weight that makes car-like mpg figures a reality. The Pacifica also offers a wide range of premium comfort and entertainment features, making long family road trips especially enjoyable for children. No matter what the equipment levels, the Pacifica delivers fantastic value.
