Compared with other off-road SUVs (Jeep Wrangler and Ford Bronco), the LC is way more "civilized" and comfortable. It can't match the practicality and comfort of a unibody crossover like Toyota Highlander or Honda Pilot, but neither of these can go off-road like the LC can. It strikes the right balance between capability and practicality, making it a good weekend and road trip vehicle, family hauler and daily driver for an active-lifestyle family. And it will take you to places other SUV drivers can only dream about. The vehicle is super quiet going down the road even though it's upright and blocky. Very minimal wind noise. Seats are super comfortable and with memory it makes it easy for my spouse and I to keep all the adjustments with just a push button away. We're getting 25 miles per gallon average with mostly City driving. The vehicle has plenty of get up and go and isn't lacking at all and it's ability to pass. As I said the interior fit and finish is impeccable can't find any crazy panel gaps or plastic that's cheap and doesn't fit correctly, but just the opposite it appears the people that assemble these have pride in their work. Haven't done everything or played with all the off-road modes but it's just a super pleasant vehicle with fantastic visibility.
