We have a great looking, low mileage of 43k, rare 1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collector Edition here today at Skyway Classics. It is one of only 6,759 commemorative cars built before General Motors shut the books on the C3. For many enthusiasts and critics alike, the 1982 Collectors Edition Corvette was the best C3 of them all. The 1982 Corvette had two engineering advances, the Cross-Fire Injection and a 4-Speed automatic transmission with overdrive fourth gear. Ours has that engine that looks just as it did when it left the factory as it sits in a very clean and tidy engine compartment. The interior is arguably more interesting than the exterior. The metallic leather seat package that was optional on late-C3s is taken one step further with a multi-tone fade on the seats and doors. It has the striking Collector Edition paint scheme that looks like somewhere between metallic shades of silver and champagne with the factory naming it Silver Beige. This unique paint stands out in public and still looks exceptional with the darker graphics on the lower doors and hood.
