Used 1982 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

When is the last time you found a one owner 1982 Corvette? It was never for me, until I came across this incredible example just 45 minutes away from me here in Florida! The Colonel, as he likes to be called, bought this beautiful white Vette brand new in 1983 and trailered it back and forth between his home in FL and his home in NJ each season. It was lovingly cared for and maintained since new, and spent most of its life in an air-conditioned garage when not going to local car shows and cruise nights. Paint is original, and while not perfect, it still looks great cruising down the boulevard. The fiberglass is clean and not cracked or damaged anywhere, and the doors and hood and lights all open and close easily without any issues. Around the same time, he decided he wanted more power, so the team at Sir Thomas Performance was contacted to install a brand-new crate ZZ4 engine to give it a boost from the anemic 200hp Crossfire motor up to 355hp and 405 ft lbs of torque! The end result is so fun to drive that you will park your daily and drive this Vette every chance you get! It performs perfectly from start-up to shut-down, has a clean lopey idle from the ZZ4 mild cam, pulls strong in each gear, and shifts crisply into each of the 5 forward speeds without issue. Clutch take up is perfect, with the right amount of grab and no slop or chatter. Braking is spot on with no pulling or excessive fade, and you can cruise the car at 90 on the highway with the confidence of a new car. Everything else works perfectly too, from the factory air conditioning and heat to the power windows and upgraded audio system. T-tops haven't leaked and seal up well from the wind when driving. Seat upholstery shows wonderfully, as do the carpets, door panels, kick panels, and trim. It is an amazing car, and needs nothing at this time but a new home. Call today to make it yours!
