This Fifth Avenue presents as a well-preserved survivor, retaining its original panels and trim. The body is straight and consistent with careful long-term ownership, showing the honest character of an unrestored car rather than the signs of cosmetic shortcuts or modifications. Body imperfections are at a minimum, but buyers should keep in mind that this is an unrestored, 41-year-old car. The Nightwatch Blue paint appears to be original and still shows well overall, but buyers should note clearcoat delamination on the hood, roof, trunk, and a few smaller areas. The automatic transmission shifts nicely, and this car turns very smoothly (as one would expect from a luxury car). This car has not been driven regularly in recent years, so routine recommissioning such as new tires and fluid services are recommended before regular use.
