Used 1986 Porsche 911 Targa

This wonderful G-body 911 is all around an amazing piece of German machinery! The rare White Gold Metallic exterior is in great shape! The platinum-like color shines all around and is truly eye appealing and very likable. All the rubber gaskets are fresh and there are no major blemishes anywhere in the paint. The Black Leather interior has been well taken care of and appears to be in well preserved condition. The seats are free of any major scuffs and there are no tears present anywhere, including around the dash area. The car is updated with a fully functional 1986 Sony XR-787R radio unit. The air conditioning unit has been upgraded to the more modern R-134a system and is fully functional. The Targa top has been fully refurbished and properly fits perfectly, with no air entering the cabin while driving. The performance of this 911 is spot on! The power appears to be all there and the motor has a strong pull! The 915 transaxle feels tight, and the shifting action is smooth and continuous. There are no synchro issues. The clutch engages perfectly and the car brakes straight and true. The car was just freshly serviced at a local Porsche repair shop. These repairs included new oil lines, valve cover gaskets, an axle rebuild, new tires, and an oil & filter change. A leak-down test performed on the engine showed 3% - 5% across the board. We purchased this vehicle from an elderly couple in Charlottesville, VA, who stored the car at their summer house, and drove it locally only a few times a year.
