Possibly Volvo's most iconic vehicle, the 240 wagon was offered from 1975 until 1993 with only minor changes through years. These vehicles are reliable, long lasting, sturdy, practical, useful and above all, safe. In today's world, they are a bit outdated and slow, but that's just part of the charm. We have had quite a few of these cars over the years. The newest one is now 30 years old, so they are getting hard to find, especially the wagons. But fortunately, the parts to keep these classics rolling are still available. This 240 was a new car trade at a local dealer. We bought it here in Greensboro. It is a one owner car, and yes it has 219k miles, but that's actually not a lot for a 30 year old car, averaging only 7,300 miles per year. These cars are capable of much higher mileage. This 240 runs and drives well and while not perfect, it's in good shape for the age, and in good shape compared to others. Our service in preparation for sale included an oil change, a/condition service.
