Released for 2002, the wide-body Carrera 4S variant of the 996 offered enthusiasts all-wheel drive, plus suspension and brake components borrowed from the Turbo in a naturally-aspirated package. It also bore a distinctive reflector bar across its rear. Power comes from an M96 3.6-liter flat-6, rated at 320 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque.
