One of only 1,306 produced in 2006, this Cadillac STS-V is a great daily drivable collector car. The exterior is finished in Black Raven metallic paint and is accented with a staggered set of 18"/19" chrome 10 spoke factory Cadillac wheels wrapped in Michelin radial tires. These cars are subtly modified over a normal STS so the average passerby would not know what they are looking at. Other than the wheels, V series badging, and signature chrome mesh grill, they are pretty much indistinguishable from one another. That is until you pop the hood and show off that Supercharged 4.4L NorthStar 32 Valve V8 engine. The sound this power plant makes echoing through the exhaust is breathtaking and sounds like a half million dollar exotic. They were rated from the factory at 469 horsepower and 439 ft-lb of torque, plenty of power to hurl this behemoth down the interstate at blinding speeds. Shifting is done through a 6 speed automatic transmission with a manual shift competition setting for more performance oriented driving. A factory limited slip differential delivers all of that power to the pavement with minimal wheel spin. She is sitting nice and low thanks to fully adjustable coil overs at all four corners. Four wheel factory Brembo power disc brakes with cross drilled and slotted rotors bring everything to a stop when you need to depress the left pedal. The interior is literally like sitting in the lap of luxury upholstered in ebony leather with deep red microfiber inserts. The front seats are heated and power adjustable and the drive seat has memory settings for easy switching between spouses. A large factory moon roof, power steering, power brakes, dual zone factory air conditioning, Bose sound system, in dash navigation, power tilt/telescopic steering column, and a heated steering wheel round out the interior amenities. Sport instrumentation consists of a 160 mph speedometer and factory tach with 6500 RPM redline!
