All 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8s came with a numbered dash plaque. The cars for the United States had a dash plate calling the cars the “First Editions” out of the 7209 Built only 2207 were black. The 2008 Challenger started the modern muscle car wars. Powered by the 6.1 HEMI and only available with a automatic transmission in the first production run.
