Third generation Subaru Foresters have proven to be reliable, durable, long lasting vehicles. They are also a good size, easy to drive, offer excellent visibility, and are all AWD. We've had especially good luck with Foresters of this era having had three as long term shop vehicles. This 2012 X Premium is a very typical example - it drives great and is in good mechanical condition, but does have some scratches and imperfections. It is a two owner vehicle with low mileage for the age and low mileage for one of these cars. X Premium is the mid range model that offers a few features not found in the bae X including panoramic moon roof, heated front seats, fog lights and alloy wheels. We determined that this Forester had overheated at some point so our service in preparation for sale began with replacing the engine with a low mileage (55k) JDM unit. Additional items included an oil change, state inspection, alignment, new a/c compressor, spark plugs, cabin filter and wiper blades. The owner's books and two keys are present.
