Used 2014 Acura RDX Base

Ninety Nine Thousand Miles. The only conceivable reason I can see for why the previous owner traded this car in is because they didn't want to have a car with One Hundred Thousand Miles. Or maybe they just didn't want to replace the tires, because the only flaw this car had when we got it was really bald tires which, to be clear, we replaced. It's a one owner vehicle, so I'd put money on the hundred thousand mile theory, but in full disclosure we also determined that one of the axles (driver's side axle shaft) needed some attention, but I didn't notice a difference in driving it before and after (I mostly just trust my mechanics, I just sell the cars The Car Dad and our mechanical team tell me meet The Car Dad standard), so I doubt that was why either. But I tell you what, Hondas are nice cars and Acuras are just nicer Hondas. The lovely leather seats in this one are minimally worn with slight wrinkling from light use as opposed to the cracking from sun damage or any tears. While I don't think it's one of the most expensive trim levels from Acura it still has a bunch of simple technology and features that make owning and driving cars better. Additionally, the technology from this era of cars is sturdier and simpler (in my experience) and so while the quality of the Bluetooth isn't quite as crisp as it will be in a 2024 model, it still has a CD player. On top of that, it has a moon roof, heated seats (driver and passenger), and several other features that are just lovely to have. Now like any Japanese model, this car has a modest engine and lighter weight, which means while it's not super powerful it definitely qualifies as responsive and efficient. It has a V6 3.5L engine that produces 273hp and still gets 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. And of course it's a sturdy, Japanese engineered vehicle which means its lifespan is barely depleted if you take good care of it from here on out. On the small chance something does go wrong way down line, the costs for parts is low and every mechanic can figure out how to work on them. Basically, this is a great car, and you should come look at it.
