I have come across some of the common issues with this vehicle and the biggest one tackled was the replacement of the timing chain and the cam phasers. Since then, the vehicle has operated flawlessly. After visiting the Ford dealer and walking away with sticker shock, I decided to keep my expedition a bit longer. Even if another major repair is needed, I'll still be ahead of the game.
