The two-screen infotainment layout works great; your navigation is going up top, your audio and climate below. The lower touch screen is much better than the system in my mom's 2015 Accord Touring, which is similar if not identical to the previous TLX's. As for the drive, this is a perfect car for asking the question "why do you need more than this?" For those of us who drive on U.S. roads at legal speeds, I can't see why more power would be helpful. The interior is not opulent; it's nice. The materials are all nice and nicely put together. Those looking for the kind of "wow" in the cabin that a current Mercedes has or a Jaguar has will not find it here. Those who appreciate understated, basic quality and what you need where you need it (quality perforated leather, quality pleather, soft-touch plastics) will be happy. The fake wood looks good, and there is real aluminum trimming the upper center stack.
