The Roush R2300 TVS supercharger is a roots-type positive displacement supercharger featuring twin four-lobe rotors twisted at 160-degrees, a significant improvement over older three-lobe, 60-degree twist technology. With the fourth lobe and added twist, combined with redesigned air inlet and outlet ports, it offers enhanced thermal efficiency, greater volumetric capacity, higher operating speeds, smoother airflow into the engine, and reduced noise and vibration. Unlike turbocharging, the Roush R2300 TVS supercharger delivers immediate throttle response and increased power across the entire power band.
