To each negotiated cash sale price of each vehicle, a documentary fee may be added for the handling documents and performing services related to closing of a sale. The maximum amount that may be charged for a documentary fee is $377.63. Additionally, dealers may charge a fee not to exceed $35 for the optional service of electronically processing vehicle titling and registration and for providing registration plates or stickers.
