The SLC has several layers of quality paint, and take care of it and the luster will last several years with little degradation. If you can find such a car with low mileage and get it MB certified, that is the sensible way to go. I highly recommend some relatively low cost pre maintenance along with a tire and wheel warranty. Quite often, I delay arriving home, simply because I want to cruise a little (actually a lot!) longer in my SLC with my classic rock and pop music serenading me.
