By Charlie | on Thursday, November 14, 2019 4.0 I have had several Chevys, but this is the only one that has given me this many miles! 322,000!!! The only recurring problem has been with the traction control, and I have had other Traverse owners with similar year models tell me that they have had the same recurring problem. But other than that, this vehicle has been trouble free! I have never missed an oil change and I always follow the maintenance schedule. I bought it new in 2011, so I have had 8.5 trouble free years and plenty of good miles. If Chevy will assure me that the traction control is no longer an issue, I might buy a new one. One point I would make is that I have had my maintenance done at an independent shop, as the Chevy dealership charges outrageous prices for even the most simple little maintenance items. They wanted $160 to change a headlight --- I had it done for $32.50 at the independent shop! But other than that, yay Chevy! Very reliable car! Simply the best SUV I have ever owned. I've owned this car for 2 years and I love it. It has tons of room, great pickup, handles great and gets very good gas mileage. I own the standard AWD AS. I have never had one problem with this car and find it one of the most reliable vehicles I have ever owned. BTW - the standard sound system is truly amazing. I highly recommend this SUV. Wonderful vehicle.
