While the 500 Abarth is a sports car in a practical subcompact hatchback body, the 124 Spider is a sports car in a sports car body. The new Spider makes very few compromises in its pursuit of driving enjoyment. The FIAT 124 Spider has a base price of just below $25,000. For that money, there are very few convertibles available and fewer still that claim to be actual sports cars.
