Used 2017 Ford Escape S

Ford likes SUVs that start with an "E" and I get it, alliteration is catchy. Expedition, Explorer, Edge, Escape, et cetera. The Escape is a name that works pretty well, as the compact SUV is a fairly easy to drive car, especially when parking in the Bay Area. The engine, as befits a solid American car, is a Duratec 2.5L i4 engine that gives off 168hp but still delivers efficiency, getting 21mpg in the city and 29 on the highway. The compact size means it has less weight than a normal crossover SUV, which helps with responsive driving and the gas mileage, and it still has a five star crash test rating. Additionally, it has a backup camera for safety and convenient parking lot maneuverability. The black color on the outside keeps this car looking sharp and sleek, and the cloth seat interior with black interior finishes the look off well. Despite being a low trim level car, it is equipped with Ford's SYNC infotainment system that allows for handsfree phone operation while driving. And man, if you're going to have a black on black car, Ford makes AC systems designed for American weather! Very few cars that come across my lot feel like the engineers knew about California summer. That could be part of why this is a one owner car. Regardless of why, the previous owner took good care of it, getting it regular oil changes and only driving it about 6-7k miles per year, which is why it only has 61,000 miles on it. It drives well, looks great, and came back with a clean bill of health (passed it safety inspection and smog) from the mechanic.
