We looked for SUV's for some time, narrowing it down to an Acura RDX or GLC. The Mercedes is more posh and drives solid and refined. The Honda/Acura vehicles are super-competent, for sure, but they feel ordinary compared to the Mercedes. The GLC was about $5,000 more, but felt like you were getting more, so the value to me was the same. I enjoy the steering assist (which the RDX), the Speed Limit Assist and the lane assist on long trips. In my case, it sometime mistakes the 80 mph signs (I live in Utah) with 60 mph signs and suddenly decelerates, scaring the driver, passengers, and nearby drivers. There's probably a fix for that (besides turning off the feature). We have the ambient lighting package, which is fun to use. My wife and I love the car and hope to keep it for a long time.
