The 2019 Honda Pilot EX-L 3.3.5 is a great vehicle with a comfortable ride, and surprisingly good fuel economy, that legendary Japanese reliability has clearly faded. At just over 50K miles the fuel injectors needed replacing - a $1500 repair if we hadn’t bought the $1700 extended warranty, and at just over 60K miles the A/C compressor failed (on a boiling hot day while we were out of state of course) which was a $2000 repair without the warranty.
