Features & Options
- Exterior Ellelectronics Electronics Package, External Ground Lighting, Rear Sonar.
- Exterior Color and Exterior Color In One Word.
- The oil and filter were real easy to change as well.
- The interior was nice but the seats were a little hard and started getting used to it the more we sat on them, but it really did feel more like a car than an SUV.
- The Kicks is considered a crossover but I found it more to be on the car side than the sport utility side. It was more like a raised car and reminded me of my old Kia Soul.
- The large cargo room in the rear for a car its size, and overall interior room for a car its size.
- The oil and filter were real easy to change as well, don't even need to raise it with a jack to get to the drain plug and oil filter.
- The stereo sounded good but not great, only sounded great when used with the Sirius XM radio demo that you get for free for three months with buying the car.
- The AC/heat was not very precise, it either was too cool or a little too warm, we had to finagle with it by manually adjusting it every time to get comfortable.
- I would recommend the Kicks for the value and styling and great commuter car, and looking back would spend for the top of the line SR trim instead of the SV I had, but if you're going to spend that much for an SR and want a more refined vehicle, you might as well would move up to a Rogue Sport or above, unless you want to stay with the shape of the Kicks which had more of an edge, rather than the more subtle sophistication of a Rogue Sport.
- Overall great mini suv. For the low cost.
- Great vehicle for its price it offers reasonable comfort and luxury feel and look. It has a light weight car feeling when driving but it feels well planted with plenty of grip when turning or breaking hard. Fairly cheap cost of maintenance $136 for synthetic oil change, tire rotation and refill of other fluids. Avg. mileage for mostly city driving 25-27 when I get long freeway driving it goes up to 41 mpg based on computer trip. Decent power for a 1.6l naturally aspirated engine, although uphills with five passengers and a/c running would be forcing it too much. Built quality structure wise is very simple, with proven reliable technology like rear drums brake and rear semi independent suspension. Huge cabin and cargo space for its relatively short wheel base. Great infotainment system with apple carplay and android auto. Sound system volume is clear and somewhat loud enough for stock. Plenty of cup holders 1 in each door and 3 in center console. 3 USB ports and cigarette lighter port. Huge sunvisor with plenty of option to modify to. Exterior Paint is very easy to dent, to scratch or to even make a deep scratch to where you can see the bare metal. Overall my wife and I we are very happy with our car. This is a car that if kept well it could easily make the 20 year mark. At a cheap cost in both short and long run.
