Used 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

This is not just a Mustang. Not just a Shelby. And not even just a GT500. This is the kind of machine that makes people stop, stare, and ask questions they didn't know they had. It began as a 2020 Mustang Shelby GT500…already one of the most powerful, capable, and technologically advanced muscle cars ever offered by Ford. But when that wasn't enough, it was ordered with the ultra-desirable Carbon Fiber Track Package and later sent to Shelby American for full Signature Edition conversion with the optional Wide Body treatment. The result is one of the rarest and most aggressive street-legal Shelbys ever built. Only 100 Signature Edition units are scheduled for the 2020 model year, and it's believed this is just one of six finished in Grabber Lime with the Wide Body upgrade throughout the 2020-2022 model years…a true “Golden Ticket” build that sits atop the S550 food chain. The presence this car commands is hard to describe. The vivid Grabber Lime paint practically pulses under sunlight, wrapping around a widened body that looks factory only in theory. Painted black stripes run the length of the car and are perfectly echoed by a gloss black roof, painted black rocker stripes, and black mirror caps. The widened fenders are stuffed with gloss black 20-inch forged monoblock wheels wearing Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 305s and 335s respectively. Peeking behind those massive rollers are Brembo brakes with red calipers that provide an exciting contrast to the bright paint. The carbon fiber hood has been replaced with a more aggressively vented dry carbon weave unit, subtly exposing its texture through the vents. The carbon rear spoiler remains, balancing out the rear visually and functionally. Shelby-branded hood locks,' Signature Edition' grille and decklid badges, and Carroll Shelby's signature on the C-pillars round out the cosmetic transformation. Park it anywhere, and everything else just looks like background noise. Under the hood, the changes are just as intense. The factory 5.2L supercharged “Predator” V8 is already a monster at 760 horsepower, but the Signature Edition turns it up further with a smaller supercharger pulley that takes power output past 800 horsepower. Supporting hardware includes a high-flow intercooler, high-flow heat exchanger, recalibrated suspension tuning, and upgraded sway bars. Shifts come via Ford's lightning-quick Tremec 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and power is channeled through a Torsen limited-slip differential with 3.73 gearing. Inside, the upgrades continue. Shelby leather seat recovers feature contrast stitching and embroidered signatures on the seatbacks. A 4-point roll cage, painted to match the body color, adds structure and presence without making the cabin feel overly stripped. Carbon fiber dash trim houses the CSM production plaque and is flanked by dual auxiliary gauges for oil pressure and temperature. This car was ordered with the optional Technology Package, which includes a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system, SYNC 3 infotainment with voice-activated nav, SiriusXM, blind spot monitoring, and heated mirrors with Cobra puddle lamps. Dual-zone climate control keeps things comfortable, and Ford's Track Apps suite allows you to monitor G-forces, acceleration times, and more.
