Plus, the 2020 Sierra HD offers a plethora of practical and technological features that range from a clever multifunction tailgate to advanced trailering assists. The Sierra 2500HD has been completely redesigned for 2020. It gets a bolder-looking exterior, reimagined interiors, updated powertrains, substantially increased payload and tow ratings, and unique and inventive features. The HD twins also add a new off-road-oriented model—called AT4—that GMC is starting to proliferate throughout its portfolio. With top-of-the-line infotainment system: an eight-inch high-definition touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility and navigation. The Denali Ultimate Package upped the Denali's level of luxury by adding a power sunroof in addition to a variety of safety features. Throttle response and acceleration are surprisingly snappy for such a huge diesel-powered truck. Most large four-wheel-drive rigs have hopelessly slow and vague steering, but the Denali's rack, which incorporated GMC's Digital Variable Steering Assist tech, provides a satisfying amount of feel and directness. Safety features like driver Alert Package contained a front and rear parking assistance system and Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert. There was even more in Driver Alert Package II, including Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning, and Automatic Emergency Braking come standard. Towing capacity of 14,500 pounds.
