Plus, the 2020 Sierra HD offers a plethora of practical and technological features that range from a clever multifunction tailgate to advanced trailering assists. The Sierra 2500HD has been completely redesigned for 2020. It gets a bolder-looking exterior, reimagined interiors, updated powertrains, substantially increased payload and tow ratings, and unique and inventive features. The HD twins also add a new off-road-oriented model—called AT4—that GMC is starting to proliferate throughout its portfolio. With top-of-the-line infotainment system: an eight-inch high-definition touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility and navigation. The Denali Ultimate Package upped the Denali's level of luxury by adding a power sunroof in addition to a variety of safety features. Throttle response and acceleration are surprisingly snappy for such a huge diesel-powered truck. Most large four-wheel-drive rigs have hopelessly slow and vague steering, but the Denali's rack, which incorporated GMC's Digital Variable Steering Assist tech, provides a satisfying amount of feel and direction.
