Very comfortable when not being pushed and can be reasonable on gas getting 26-28 mpg on the freeway and low traffic backroads. When being pushed the enjoy roars to life, the handling can be very fun and playful even with traction control on and the engine brings the whole driving experience together. However, the car does not have as good handling as some German competitors in its class, the engine shines through its flaws and makes it a far more entertaining, livable, and less boring car than its sterile German counterparts. Additionally the reliability and build quality make it far easier to push this car and not worry about something breaking or being left stranded somewhere. The V8 in the IS is one of the best V8s ever made, get it while you can! These will hold their value much better than anything else in the class.
