Then my son and I took a 15 hour road trip to Colorado to watch a sporting event. 30 hours of driving at 75 mph in 48 hours. The car was amazing. 30 mpg at 75 mph over such a long distance. I was sold. Now one year latter the car still gets the same gas mileage and is just as reliable. I have 40 000 Miles and so far fixed nothing. Very happy with the car! It's just big enough to get an SUV feel but still be able to parallel park with ease. On a longer trip, the ride is not as smooth or pleasurable. The cabin gets noisy and bumpy. The gas mileage is a plus, but since I have purchased this vehicle, I haven't quite gotten to 30 mpgs. But that is related to many factors, including my own city driving. This car is great for a first new car purchase as a young professional. There are many standard safety features. But do consider other options too.
