The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L are available in both 4x2 and 4x4 drive types in four trims: Laredo, Limited, Overland, and Summit while the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk model is available in 4x4 only. Powering the Grand Cherokee is one of two engines, a 3.6L Pentastart V6 engine with 293 horsepower, a 5.7L Hemi V8 engine with 357 horsepower and a towing capacity up to 7200 lbs. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Class-Exclusive Quadra-Lift Air Suspension now has Electronic Semi-Active Damping which automatically lowers the vehicle at highway speeds to achieve efficient aerodynamics. While in off-road situations, it allows you to raise the vehicle to clear obstacles when driving over rough terrain. The Summit steps up the luxury, convenience, and comfort features, including adaptive cruise control, rear controls for the climate control system, a blind-spot/rear cross-path detection system, front collision warning and exterior trim enhancements. A 10-speaker audio system takes the music to the next level. The 4-wheel-drive models are all seriously capable but can be upgraded to meet whatever any level of off-road intensity the customer is looking for.
